Office of the Treasurer
Responsibilities of this office include full charge of all accounting functions through financial statement preparation. This includes:
- Administering Health, Life and 401(K) Benefit Plans as Well as All General Insurance Policies and Workers Compensation Policies and Claims
- All Cash Management
- All Payroll and Accounts Payable Functions
- Assisting in Budget Preparation
- Coordinating With Outside Auditors for Annual Audit as Required by the State of Maryland
- Management of All Revenue and Expenditures
- Preparation of Monthly Treasurer's Report for Town Meeting
