The Town Clerk is a notary and may be available to notarize documents for the general public. If you need a document notarized, please call 301-927-4262 or email the Town Clerk's office to check availability. State law allows notaries to charge a fee of $4 per signature.

It can be done in 1-2 minutes and you will receive status reports by email.
If it is an emergency, call 911. You can request a University Park police officer and one will be dispatched if available. If a UP officer is not available, the County will be dispatched.

The leaf collection calendar is posted every November and is updated weekly to reflect the progress of the collection crews. Check the Public Works Calendar periodically for updates and to find out when they will be working in your ward.
A blue UP sticker can be obtained at Town Hall (6724 Baltimore Avenue) during normal business hours and is free. The sticker serves as a parking permit for homeowners. Bring your driver’s license and your tag number with you to Town Hall to get your sticker. If you are a renter, bring your driver’s license, a copy of your signed lease agreement and your tag number. Renters will receive a yellow parking permit which is displayed on the rear view mirror of the vehicle.

Public Works does not collect TVs and electronics at the curb. Drop-off electronic recycling events are hosted by the Town semi-annually, in April and October, at the University Park Elementary School. Check the Town's newsletter or the Public Works calendar for upcoming dates.
The Council meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m., with the exceptions of holidays. Meetings take place at the University Park Elementary School at 4315 Underwood Street in the media center. Learn more about Town Council.

The collection crews have to be able to provide a final collection opportunity for all wards in the Town and that can take weeks to accomplish, especially if there are weather related delays.
