The committee’s role is to review all matters concerning public trees in Town and sponsor educational activities to increase public appreciation of trees.
This committee is established by ordinance, appointed by the Mayor with consent of the Council per 16.103 of the Town Ordinances.
This is a special committee. Special Committees, unless otherwise indicated, are established and appointed by the Council per Section 2-103 of the Town Ordinances. Special Committees are made up of Councilmembers and town residents.
