The road conditions out of town and around the Metro are very icy and the bus service has been cancelled for today.
Throughout the winter months, residents who ride the bus are urged to call the Town bus status line at 240-297-8287 to learn if the bus is running and to sign up on the Town website to receive weather alerts. To sign up, look under the "How do I..." heading on the homepage and you'll see "sign up for" and click on "alerts".
Also, due to the Prince George's County school closure, tonight's Council meeting will be held at Town Hall - 6724 Baltimore Avenue.
