Tomorrow, Saturday, October 25, University Park will host two important community events:
Service Day - 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Many volunteers will be working throughout town on community projects. Please be aware that parking may be affected in certain areas. Residents and visitors are encouraged to drive carefully and stay alert for pedestrians and volunteers who will be walking along roadways and working near curbsides.
Parking Notice:
Additional vehicle will be parked along Beechwood Road between Adelphi Road and Wells Parkway during the event. Please plan ahead for limited parking and possible traffic delays.
Drug Take-Back Day - 10:00 a.m. To 2:00 p.m.
The University Park Police Department will participate in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Residents can safely dispose of unwanted or expired medications by bringing them to the police department during these hours. This program helps prevent misuse and ensures the safe, environmentally responsible disposal of medications.
