Councilmember Nat Morgan grew up in the Avondale neighborhood, a few minutes away from University Park, and attended school in SW London for his senior year in 1981. Experiencing much of the U.K. and Europe, he was struck by how much attention people outside the United States paid to the goings on inside the U.S. — especially our politics. Nat attended Hampton Institute’s School of Architecture for four years before going to work for the International City/County Management Association. His career there included managing a customer service team and helping to manage facility maintenance and improvement projects. Nat earned several IT certifications and ended his career there in 2018 as an IT Project Manager. He now manages a team at M.C. Dean that provides Internet and telecom support for the Baltimore Convention Center. He likes talking to and listening to people and will strive to create an active channel between the Council and Town residents.
He enjoys photography and, along with his wife, Dona, likes to find solutions to problems around their home. Dona and Nat moved to University Park in 1994. Their children, Alana and Max, attended University Park Elementary School, then Good Counsel and DeMatha, respectively, and both graduated from the University of Maryland.
