Councilmember William (Bill) Sweet lived in University Park for 10 years. His household includes his wife, Tracy, and three children, Dylan, Margot, and Daphne. Bill grew up in Pittsburgh and has spent most of his adult life living in the DMV.
Bill currently works as a Cardiac Operating Room nurse at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He earned a MSN in Nursing Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, and BSN in Nursing from the University of Maryland. Bill’s hobbies include biking, running, and watching his kids play soccer, and he spends a lot of his indoor time researching cars.
Bill serves on the Public Facilities & Services Committee and the Police Traffic & Public Safety Committee.
