Casey Kelby moved to University Park in 2021. In her short time in UP, she has enjoyed being a part of the Helping Hands University Park (HHUP) committee, electronics recycling days, and attending 4th of July parades, to name a few! Casey has been a resident of Prince George’s County since 2018 and is originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia.
Casey brings over a decade of experience in the space and satellite industry, specializing in business development and marketing across commercial and government sectors. She currently serves as a Sales Executive at ETL Systems, a manufacturing company that makes electronics that distribute satellite signals on the ground, which support critical communications infrastructure. Her career began at Dunmore Corporation as an Aerospace Project Engineer, later transitioning to Aerothreads, Inc. as a Business Development Manager, and further enhancing her expertise at NanoAvionics US. Casey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech and is committed to promoting STEM education, recently serving on the board of directors for Higher Orbits.
Casey is passionate about her community, describing University Park as an awesome place to live with a close-knit, diverse community. The town boasts incredible green spaces, a low crime rate, and high walkability. Casey values the neighborly spirit and is grateful for the efforts to make University Park an outstanding place to live. She aims to continue engaging with neighbors to make University Park an inviting place for all residents.
