The Second Saturday Lecture Series that was discontinued during the pandemic will begin again on October 14, 2023 at the Church of the Brethen from 4pm to 5:00/5:30ish. The church is located at the corner of Tuckerman Street and Route 1 with ample off-street parking. Our first event will not be a lecture per se but a "meet and greet" for our Police Chief, Harvey Baker, and the men and women of the University Park Police Department. They will talk about their backgrounds, how they became police officers, and what makes them interesting members of our community. They are here each day to protect us all and keep University Park safe. By getting to know them better, we can all benefit as they do their job and as we go about our daily lives here in town. Please join us for an interesting afternoon.
