Prince George's County Office of Emergency Management is offering a 16 hour CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training over the course of 2 days and will be held at the Prince George's County Office of Emergency Management located at 7915 Anchor Street, Hyattsville, MD.

Basic CERT Training covers basic skills that are important to know in a disaster when emergency services are not available. With training and practice, and by working as a team, you will be able to protect yourself and maximize your capability to help for the greatest number of people after a disaster.

If you are interested in joining your community CERT team this is a great training to attend. If you have any questions regarding the upcoming training please contact Rasheed Plummer at rdplummer@co.pg.md.us. For questions about University Park's CERT group, email Chief Harvey Baker at hbaker@upmd.org.
