Chief Baker is pleased to announce University Park Police Officer Georgia Miltenberger has been promoted to Captain. Captain Miltenberger was the former Chief of Police for Colmar Manor and Cottage City Police Departments, where she was the first woman to serve as Chief for these two agencies simultaneously. Captain Miltenberger has experienced a steady increase of leadership responsibilities throughout her 16-year law enforcement career. She is an advocate of community policing and brings a wealth of managerial and administrative skills to our team. Chief Baker is confident she will do well as the new Captain for the Department.
