Our primary purpose in this Town Hall is to hear from you about flooding and drainage issues in Town which you see. We are especially interested in hearing about flooding and drainage problems related to the September 10 flash flood which (according to the Weather Gang in the September 11 Washington Post) … caused creeks and streams to rise up to eight feet in a single hour and overwhelmed drainage systems, bringing widespread flooding that inundated roads and stranded dozens of motorists.
Where we can, we will also try to fill you in on what the Town is doing to address problems, as well as remote possibilities for Federal and State disaster recovery assistance. Please share this information with your friends and neighbors and we hope you will join us on Monday.
