At the June 27 Special Session Council meeting, the Mayor and Council unanimously adopted a statement on racial justice, through which the Town affirms that Black Lives Matter and dedicate themselves to the critical ongoing anti-racist work needed to achieve the ideals of equality, liberty, and justice for all. In future meetings, the Council will discuss specific actions that can be taken in the Town to address racism.
