[ARCHIVED] Kids Drawing and Coloring Contest

Shows a child's hand using crayons to create a picture

In an effort to provide children with a safe and creative outlet during school closures due to COVID-19, University Park Police will hold a kids drawing and coloring contest. They are challenging children that live in University Park to draw and color a picture showing how they will remain safe during COVID-19. Drawings can be anything a child imagines, including indoor or outdoor activities. Submissions will be accepted from children 12 and under. Some of these drawings may also appear on the Town’s website. Prizes will be awarded for the best pictures. Parents can include the child’s name, age, and phone number or email address. Personal information will be used to contact the winners and will not be made public. Submissions must be submitted no later than April 30, 2020 to Corporal Shamika Graddy at sgraddy@upmd.org. We can’t wait to see the kid’s creations!
