Meadow Day Weed and Seed

The Sustainability Committee and the Anacostia Watershed Society are looking for volunteers to help identify and remove invasive plants from the UP Pollinator Meadow. Last year we filled a pick-up truck with mugwort. We need folks who like to tear up weeds! Along with work gloves, we suggest wearing a long sleeve shirt, long pants and sturdy outdoor shoes. Adults and tweens/teens with adults are welcome to RSVP for details on what to expect, what to bring, etc. at mstwohy@gmail.com.
