For your information, Police Chief Harvey Baker has issued the following statement regarding the “Left to Curb” parking citations issued last night in Town:

Parking Citation
Good morning,

Many of you woke up this morning to an unusual parking citation. The citation was given to those who parked in the opposite direction of traffic known as a “Left to Curb” violation. The University Park Police do not normally issue citations for parking left to curb. Please accept my apology for the confusion. However, we do encourage all residents to obey the Town’s parking ordinance.

Please bring the parking citation to the Police Department to be voided.
