The Ivy League will be in session as usual on the second Saturday of the month.
Volunteers work for two hours (or any portion thereof) with Tree Committee members to remove
English ivy from the town's trees in our parks and public right of ways. No experience is needed.
We will meet at the 911 Memorial, at the terminus of Wells, near the new playground.
If you arrive late, you will find us in the wooded area to the right of the trail heading toward the
pollinator meadow. Volunteers should bring a pair of basic hand pruners and a prying tool of their choice
- a dandelion weeder, large sturdy screwdriver, or miniature pry bar are all good choices.
Volunteers will receive credit for two sessions for this one session - only five sessions
needed to earn a custom-made, limited edition Ivy League bandana.
Community Service forms will be signed if provided on site.
