UPWC will welcome Mr. Francis Allen as our guest speaker for the January 3rd meeting via Zoom. Mr. Allen is a member of the National American Glass Club (NAGC) and has served with that organization since 1968, as its President from 1989-1995 and as its webmaster 1997—present. The topic of the presentation is Blenko Glass. Time for questions and discussion will follow the presentation.
Mr. Allen and his wife Dorothy have been glass collectors since 1968. He is also a member of the Corning Museum of Glass, The New Bedford Museum of Glass, the DelMarVa Depression Glass Club and the National Capital Radio & Television Museum. He has authored articles for NAGC’s Glass Club Bulletin and Glass Shards. Mr. Allen is active daily on NAGC’s Facebook page at National American Glass Club, Ltd.
