Car Seat Safety Checks

University Park Police Department is now offering infant and child car seat safety checks by appointment only. Our goal is to ensure that the children of University Park are properly secured in car seats and seat belts while traveling. Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death of children under 15. Currently, we are offering this service to University Park residents only.

To make an appointment, please email Captain Shameka Graddy at sgraddy@upmd.org

Non-residents can view the  Safe Kids Worldwide website to find car seat safety checks event listings near you.
