Details: The University Park Helping Hands Committee will meet at Town Hall in the conference room to discuss the following agenda items:

1. Review of July’s minutes
2. Welcome to newest steering committee member, Kalinda Gathinji
3. Upcoming events — tasks related to each event
- Sept. 10 - free concert at The Clarice followed by HHUP wine & nibbles reception
- Run off labels for seniors in town, HHUP volunteer list
- Nov. 2 - Dr. Carlo Tornatore’s talk on Memory and Aging
- Publicize widely — who? how?
- Nov. 7 - National Memory Screening by HHUP
- Site TBA - Word of God Baptist Church?
- Loretta & Anne Craynon - testers; Ned registrar
4. Updating manual —
- Anyone besides Ned and Loretta working on this? Need to finish!
5. Planning and scheduling training
- Sabrina & Loretta
- Plan schedule of training — for us and for volunteers
- Key topics: Benefits of having a program like HHUP; Dos and Don’ts; limitations of what we can offer; boundary issues that may develop; signs for concern; confidentiality; building trust; making referrals
6. JCA Village Rides - updated information from Loretta, based on conversation with Sara Fought, Village Rides coordinator
7. Do we want to change our email address to HelpingHandsUP@gmail.com?
8. Website — can we at least add our forms to the UP website before new website is built?
9. Reporting expenses to Linda Verrill, treasurer for tracking our budget
10. Additional programs:
- Ned — FDIC has a program called Moneysmart - financial skills training
11. Schedule upcoming meetings dates for September, October and November

This meeting is open; the public is welcome to attend.
